Dr. Hiebert is originally from Abbotsford, British Columbia. He attended undergraduate school in Abbotsford, at the University of Fraser Valley. He graduated from medical school at Temple University in Philadelphia, PA where he received academic honors. He also served as President of TUSPM Student Body. He then completed an extensive three-year surgical residency at Yale-New Haven Hospital in New Haven, CT.

Dr. Hiebert comes from an extensive background in sports at all levels which includes hockey, golf, lacrosse and rugby. This has provided his interest in Foot and Ankle Sports Medicine injuries. Dr. Hieberts other professional interests include diabetic limb salvage/wound care and trauma. His outside interests include golfing and traveling.

He is an active member in the American Podiatric Medical Association, American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons and the Yale Podiatric Society.
